Of the 115,000+ Kindle books we have checked so far, almost exactly 50% are available for lending. Our sample may be skewed because it is generated by user activity on our Kindle lending/borrowing community platform, www.KindleLendingClub.com.
This search actually returns 151,000 and the results look to be accurate.
